Yoga Holiday in South Goa
Your Practice – Your Rhythm – No Pressure
Practice Without Pressure
Maybe you’ve been curious about a teacher training but aren’t ready for the commitment. Or perhaps you simply want a week where your only job is to show up on your mat, breathe, and let someone else guide you.
Our yoga holidays give you the same intimate setting and experienced teachers as our trainings – palm trees overhead, small groups, personal attention – but without the intensity of certification. Practice twice daily if that feels right. Once if that’s enough. Take a day to explore Patnem beach or simply rest in a hammock.
You’re eight minutes from the Arabian Sea, surrounded by nature, with teachers who’ve guided practitioners for over twelve years. This is your time to move at your own rhythm.
Your Days, Your Way
You wake to birdsong and decide: strong vinyasa at 7am, or gentle flow at 8? Or maybe today you skip class entirely and spend the morning in a hammock with coffee and that book you’ve been meaning to finish.
Late breakfast when you’re ready. Then the day opens up. Walk to Patnem beach. Find a waterfall in the jungle. Or simply stay at the resort, moving between your room, the hammock, and the shala as the mood takes you.
By late afternoon, you’re on your mat for restorative yoga as the heat softens. Class ends just as golden hour begins. You walk eight minutes to the beach, watch the sun drop into the Arabian Sea, then choose: fresh seafood at a beach shack, or back to the resort for dinner under the palms.
No agenda but the one you create. No pressure but what you choose to take on.
Why South Goa
South Goa is different. While North Goa draws party crowds and package tourists, the south stays quiet. Patnem village has one main road, a handful of beach shacks, and a pace of life that actually lets you slow down.
This is where India’s yoga community has built roots. Within twenty minutes, you’ll find sound healing ceremonies, breathwork circles, cacao ceremonies, and ecstatic dance gatherings. Teachers and practitioners from around the world base themselves here for months at a time. It’s simply where yogis go.
And there’s more…
Beyond practice, there’s the rest of Goa: waterfalls hidden in jungle hills, ancient temples carved from stone, wildlife sanctuaries where monkeys outnumber people. Or you can do nothing. Spend days moving between your mat, a hammock, and the ocean.
Julia and George know which beaches stay empty, which temples are worth the drive, and where to find the best dosa in Patnem. They’re there when you want recommendations, and quiet when you don’t.
Getting Here
Fly into Goa’s Dabolim Airport from most major cities, with direct flights from London, Manchester, and Birmingham during season. If you’re connecting through Mumbai or Delhi, the onward flight to Goa takes about an hour. A taxi from the airport to Patnem takes roughly an hour and a half.
Julia and George can arrange airport transfers if you’d prefer not to navigate taxis after a long flight.
This is a magical place! The staff are friendly and helpful, comfortable, big huts and only a 5 minute walk down to the beautiful Patnem beach. The yoga teaching itself was next level. The teachers are so helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

AMAZING! Had the most special time at Palm Trees. Location is magical and quiet. The whole team were so friendly. Yoga was fantastic. The yoga sessions were amazing. I just wish I could do them all the time. The Yin classes were out of this world and not to be missed. Rocket with Julia was tough but fun. Thank you to the whole team. George and Julia, you should be very proud.
